How To Turn Off Facebook Notification Sounds

At first glance Facebook notification Sound Look like it's build in feature of Facebook. But we are actually getting used to it.But in reality Facebook Notification Sounds were introduced in January 2013.  Yes it's true but now even after such short time you might think this feature is available from day one.

Why You Should Turn Off Facebook Notification Sounds?

Reasons:-

A Person might get annoyed by the sounds. Due to they are repeatedly played.
A Person might get bored because you can't change what sounds are being played.
It could disturb a person who is surfing the web.For example these sounds could easily annoy a person watching movie.
A Person could not change the volume.
Now Coming To the Main Point How To Turn Off Facebook Notification Sounds

In order to do this you have to follow these steps.

Step One:- (Gear Icon)

Click on Gear Icon .(Hint it's the right most button).This is the place where you see your Facebook Fan pages(if you have).

Step Two:- ( Account Settings)

Now click on "Account Settings".

Step Three:- (Notifications)

From there click on "Notifications".

Step Four:- (How To Get Notifications)

Now Click on "How To Get Notifications" From There select Sub Category " On Facebook"

Step Five:- (un Check)

Now the Easy part un check the box Saying "Play a sound when each new notification is received"

Step Six:- (Save Changes)

Now at last press " Save Changes" Button.
